Can I keep my number if I'm switching from another carrier?
Yes, depending on where you live. Here's how:
1) DON'T cancel service with your old carrier until you activate with us. 2) Once you have your Virgin Mobile phone, come back to this page and click "I want to switch my number from another company to Virgin Mobile". Once you do that, we'll be able to guide you the rest of the way.
Can I pick my own phone number when I buy a new No Annual Contract phone?
Sorry. You cannot choose your phone number. Our system finds the area code for your number from your ZIP code and pulls a number from a pool. Unfortunately, there is no way to choose what we receive.
I'm a Virgin Mobile Customer. If I buy a new Virgin Mobile phone, can I keep my old Virgin Mobile phone number?
Of course. To swap your Virgin Mobile phones (in other words, program your current Virgin Mobile number into your new phone), click here. Or, give us a call at 1-888-322-1122 to perform the swap through our automated phone system. Make sure you call from a phone other than your Virgin Mobile phone to perform the swap.
